WYPR, Baltimore’s local NPR station, featured the CNM’s own Laura Ensign and Richard Cone, a faculty in the Department of Biophysics, on their Maryland Morning program. Laura and Richard were discussing the role of the mucus barrier in protection against disease, and the challenge of getting therapeutics through this mucus barrier to treat unhealthy tissue.
